As owners and operators of Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell and Dodsworth Funeral Home in Macomb, we have the privilege of serving families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Providing meaningful funeral and cemetery services requires the dedication and professionalism of many individuals working together, and we believe it is important to recognize those whose efforts often go unnoticed.
With Memorial Day recently behind us, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb and Bushnell Township Cemetery in Bushnell for the exceptional work they do throughout the year, and especially for the outstanding condition of both cemeteries leading up to the Memorial Day holiday.
At Oakwood Cemetery, Sexton Mike Fisher and his staff consistently maintain the grounds with great care and attention to detail. At Bushnell Township Cemetery, Sexton Sonja Settles and Head of Maintenance Brad Kluthe demonstrate the same commitment to excellence. Both cemeteries were immaculately groomed and beautifully prepared for the many families who visited to honor loved ones over Memorial Day weekend.
Beyond the appearance of the grounds, these individuals continually go above and beyond in serving the public. They are professional, compassionate, dependable, and always willing to assist funeral directors and families alike. Their dedication helps ensure that services, burials, and visits to the cemetery are handled with dignity and respect.
While many cemeteries throughout our region work hard to serve their communities, we wanted to take a moment to specifically acknowledge these individuals and their staff for the remarkable job they do. Their efforts provide comfort to countless families and reflect positively on the communities they serve.
On behalf of Martin-Hollis Funeral Home and Dodsworth Funeral Home, thank you to Mike Fisher, Sonja Settles, Brad Kluthe, and their teams for your continued dedication and service.
