The Macomb Beautiful Association (MBA) is excited to announce an upcoming fundraising event in conjunction with the Macomb Heritage Days celebration this summer.
Money raised will be used to plant and maintain many MBA gardens, and other MBA community beautification activities.
The 2026 MBA Garden Walk will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 10:00am to 2:00PM. There will be 10 beautiful gardens located throughout Macomb on the tour this year.
Individual tickets and maps are $10.00; children under 12 years of age attend free. They can be purchased and picked up on June 1st to June 26 at the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce, 214 N. Lafayette, 9am-4pm, Mon.Fri. and at the Western Illinois Museum, at 201 South Lafayette St. Tues.-Fri., 9am-5pm and Sat. from 9am-1pm.
On the day of the event tickets can be purchased at the Macomb Thomas B. Carper Train Station, 120 E Calhoun between 10:00 to 2:00 where the tour begins, and at any garden along the tour.
As most gardens are privately owned, not all will be fully accessible for individuals with mobility or other special needs.
We are looking forward to sharing 6 private and 4 public gardens with you, thanks to homeowner’s participation. It will be a fun Heritage Days activity to share with friends and family the Sunday afternoon of Heritage Days. We hope to see you at the 2026 MBA Garden Tour, Sunday June 28th, from 10am to 2pm!
