will be at Fitch Manor, 1500 W. Main St., Bushnell on May 29.
This is a drive-up Food Pantry. Registration will be from 9:3010am and food distribution will be held 10-11:30am. Helpful Hint: Laundry baskets are great for the mobile food pantry.
MONDAY, JUNE 1-JUNE 4 Vacation Bible School The Bushnell Area Ministerial Association Combined VBS, “Illumination Station”, will be held at Bushnell Stage Park. Kids who have turned 3 through those who have completed 5th grade are invited to join each evening starting with a meal at 5:30pm, with learning, crafts, games and activities from 6 to 8pm. The North side of town divided by the highway will be picked up on Friday June 5th. The South side of town divided by the highway will be picked up on Saturday June 6th. Bulk pick-up is for residents only, the amount for each residence should not be greater than what could fit in a typical pick-up truck, or something like four bulk items and 20 bags of trash. Please bag all items that can be bagged to help the clean up go swiftly and keep the mess to a minimum.
FRIDAY, JUNE 5 “Stargazing at the Park” at Argyle Lake State Park (near Sunset shelter) with hobby astronomist Larry Knicl. Depending on the date, there will be an opportunity to observe planets and the Moon and Mars (June), Mars, Pluto and the Moon (August) and Saturn, Pluto, Neptune and possibly the remnants of the Orionids meteor shower (October).
