'I am excited to announce that I have completed advanced lymphedema training through the nationally recognized Klose training program. This certification provided me with advanced education in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, multilayer bandaging, edema management, and patient centered treatment planning. This additional training allows us at the MDH Wound Care to provide evidence-based care for patients suffering from chronic swelling, venous disease, wound complications, post-surgical edema, and lymphedema related complications with the goal of improving mobility, comfort and wound healing for an overall better quality of life. This service will be offered at the Wound Care on the 3rd floor of the hospital. Patients do not need a referral from their primary care provider to call for an appointment.
