Donna K. Huckabey, 82, of Macomb, Illinois passed away at 8:44 AM Monday May 18, 2026 at her residence. She was born March 9, 1944 to Don and Vivian (Fisher) Gallahue in Macomb, Illinois. She married Donald Lee Huckabey on March 31, 1963. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2023.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Debi Plate of Macomb, Illinois; grandchildren, Ronnie and Rick Plate; great grandchildren, Ross, Natalie, Hadley, and Rogue Plate.
Donna was also preceded in death by her grandson, Ross Plate.
Donna dedicated many years of service as a friendly clerk and welcoming door greeter at Walmart, where her warm smile and kind spirit made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday May 26, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Mike Eddy will officiate. There will be calling hours from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at Dodsworth Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
