Celebrate America's 250th Birthday in downtown Bushnell! We are looking for businesses, organizations, churches and families who want to show their patriotic pride by participating in the Inaugural Patriotic Lamp Post Decorating Contest. Participants will decorate an (assigned) downtown lamp post in patriotic style in honor of America's 250th birthday celebration.
Decorations will be judged on creativity, presentation and patriotic spirit.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
Winners will be announced during Bushnell's Freedom Fest on the evening of July 2. Application dates are open now through June 20, with the decorating timeframe between June 21-28.
