Brook Klaasen loves that the Macomb Farmers Market vendors are so helpful and kind to a new seller. She mentions some vendors even offer to help others set up their canopies, a tricky task sometimes for one person.
A Macomb resident, Klaasen started her business less than a year ago. She makes a wide variety of products including such items as lighter covers, light and outlet switches, letter keychains, key holders, cutting boards, seven inch letters, soap dispensers, car ashtrays, hair brushes, memorial pieces, sports plaques, and some personal and auto products. She also designs and prints business cards.
Brook is willing to do custom orders and customers can contact her at farmers market or through her email Brookklaasen20@outlook. com, She hopes to expand her business but is studying different avenues at the moment.
Klaasen hopes to be involved in a few other events this year, such as the Colchester yard sale, Judy’s Pancake in Galesburg, Colchester Labor Day, and the Macomb Altrusa, in addition to the Macomb Farmers Markets.
