Eldon Eugene Livingston, 78, of Bushnell, passed away at 3:48 a.m. on May 14, 2026, at The Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg.
He was born on August 9, 1947, in Macomb, to Lloyd and Inez (Schmidt) Livingston.
Eldon is survived by his daughter, Laura (Bart) Whitney of Macomb; his son, Jason Livingston of Bushnell; two grandchildren, Spencer and Olivia Whitney; his brother, Dave (Kathy) Livingston of Prairie City; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Livingston.
Eldon worked for many years in welding and manufacturing and was known for his brilliant mind and many talents. He operated Livingston Small Engine Clinic in Canton, turning a hobby into a successful side business that he truly enjoyed. He had a passion for classic cars, loved attending car shows, and enjoyed spending time fishing.
Eldon proudly served in the United States Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 19, 2026 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Bushnell Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice, Bushnell Meals on Wheels, and Bushnell Veterinary Service.
