75, of Table Grove

Sue Blansfield, 75, of Table Grove, Illinois passed away at 4:58 PM Wednesday May 13, 2026 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.

She was born January 2, 1951 in Macomb, Illinois, to Carroll and D. Alleyne (Andrews) Blansfield.

Sue is survived by her sister, Damaris Blansfield; brother-inlaw, Keith Cramer; two nieces Trisha (Matthew) Cramer Doll, and Robin Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Robert Van Blansfield; and a sister, Linda Cramer.

For 35 dedicated years, Sue served as a secretary at Western Illinois University, where she became a familiar and trusted presence to students, faculty, and staff alike. Known for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment, she took great pride in her work and formed lasting friendships throughout her many years at the university.

A graveside service was held Monday, May 18, 2026 at Pennington Point Cemetery. Mike Ulmer officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to Table Grove Fire and Rescue.
