MTC, Cobank Donate to Memorial Hospital Foundation

Memorial Hospital Foundation has received a donation of $10,000, which was made possible by the generosity of MTC Communications and CoBank’s Sharing Success Matching Grant Program. Giving back to the communities they serve is of the utmost importance to MTC. Therefore, they are proud to partner with CoBank’s Sharing Success Program to make an even more meaningful impact by supporting local organizations such as the Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Matching funds from this opportunity will support the Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Generations in Bloom Campaign. The Generations in Bloom Campaign is a 3-year campaign effort to raise $2 million to build a new Willow Grove Childcare and Learning Center on the Hancock County Senior Services campus. This gift helps bring this project to fruition, along with the notion of bringing two generations together on the same campus, fostering intergenerational activities and mentoring opportunities.

“We’re proud to support the Generations in Bloom Campaign and the vision behind it,” said Jay Griswold, President/CEO of MTC Communications. “Projects like this strengthen the foundation of our communities by bringing people together across generations. At MTC, we believe connection goes beyond technology; it’s about supporting initiatives that create lasting impact for families today and into the future.”

Greta Wetzel, Executive Director of Memorial Hospital Foundation, states, “We are incredibly grateful for MTC and CoBank’s charitable contribution to this campaign. Their generosity and philanthropy make it possible for us to fulfill our mission of continuing to enhance health and wellness in our local communities.”

With this donation, MTC and CoBank are proud to support the Generations in Bloom Campaign, helping expand access to quality childcare and enriching programs for families in our community.
