Griffin Schauble, daughter of Scott and Angie Schauble, has been named the MidAmerica National Bank Senior of the Month for May 2026. Griffin is very involved in school activities, she is involved in the Ecology Club, Interact Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, and the Thespian Club. She is also on the Math team, the Speech team, MYLO, the Math team, and in Choir. Griffin has been accepted into the National Honors Society, is an inducted thespian, went to Honors all state for choir, is an Illinois State Scholar, and was a DAR good citizen award recipient.
Community involvement is also very important to Griffin. She has volunteered at the animal shelter and at Giving Gardens. Griffin helped set up archery ranges at Crooked Creek Outdoors and has taught art activities at a summer camp. She has worked for a food truck as a cashier and server and has also worked for the school district cleaning and painting. During Griffin’s free time she enjoys painting, walking her dogs, playing tennis, and hiking.
Following graduation, Griffin plans to attend Truman State University where she plans to major in Biology for Pre-Med. As the May Senior of the Month, Griffin was presented a cash award of $100.00 and is eligible for the Senior of the Year Award in May 2026.
