Bushnell-Prairie City Junior High held their Academic Awards Night on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026. Mr. Bill Knowles started the night off with a welcome to students, parents, and staff members.
The following awards were given: The Lisa M. Agans Spirit Award was presented by Mr. Bill Knowles to Hazel Farwell.
The VFW Patriot's Pen Awards were presented by Ms. Bev Powell and Mr. Ken McCance to Gabriel Hughes, Brynn Olson, Bailey Joiner and Briella Pence.Language Arts Awards were presented by Mrs. Jennifer Waller and Ms. Taylor Mullen to Briella Pence, Brynn Olson, Abbott Hess and Safia Belghitate.The Goal Getter Award was presented by Ms. Makenna Barker, Ms. Alissa Croxton, and Mr. Brandon Rench to Aylah Seaver and Landon Powell (not pictured).Social Studies Awards were presented by Mr. Jordan Monson and Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen to Safia Belghitate, Juliet Leigh and Cecilia Lorton.The Citizenship Awards were presented by Mr. Bill Knowles to Kaley Mahr and Briella Pence (not pictured).Academic Honors Awards were presented by Mr. Bill Knowles to Briella Pence, Grace Malda, Bailey Joiner, Karamia Gonzales, Anthony Russell, Kohen Lowe, Nicolai Kiser and Jesselin Seaver Not pictured: Bentley Juneman, Kaden Mckee.The General Macomb Chapter DAR Awards were presented by Ms. Sarah Curtis to Kohen Lowe and Briella Pence.
