Thoughts on GOP
To the Editor:
For those of you out there who still believe that the Republican party is still what it used to be, it’s NOT.
Here’s how it works nowadays. The billionaires give millions to create and fund FOX News and the other so-called right wing media to convince you that it’s THEM {immigrants, people of color, Jews, gays, etc.} who has taken your money, your jobs, your ability to get ahead in a country where a person with a normal job used to be able to make ends meet and get ahead. Then they give tens of millions of dollars to buy your legislators so they get the right laws passed to give them all the advantages in their businesses so they can make more money off of YOU. Then they buy all their competitors so there’s no competition. Once the competition is gone they raise the prices to make even more money from YOU.
The oil billionaires pay everyone to say climate change is a hoax and kill the subsidies for free energy to keep you dependent on their oil. Then they give more money to the politicians to kill any laws that get in their way from taking all your money while they destroy your children's future. Then the billionaires buy up all the media{ like they have done with CBS } to make sure that you hear only what they want you to hear.
This is who the MAGA Republican party is nowadays - the political power controlled by the corporations and the billionaires who own them. All they want is ALL YOUR MONEY. They indeed will take as much as you let them. They cancel children's cancer research to get the money to build the ballroom or replace all the bombs they give Israel and drop on other countries. They cancel your healthcare to give their donor billionaires a big tax break when they already pay nothing. They take the payoffs from the AI tech bros to give a free hand for them to push a technology we don’t need or want. They want to return to a feudal system where they are the masters and we are all their surfs.
The Republican party has shown us they will cheat at every turn, they will use our religious beliefs against us and that they respect money and power above you and your children's welfare. Is this who you really want to support - still?
