The Macomb, Bushnell-Prairie City and West Prairie High School boys track teams headed to Farmington Friday to take part in the annual Prairieland Conference Track and Field Championships.
Host Farmington won the meet with a score of 140 points. Elmwood/Brimfield was second with 117 points, followed by Macomb (98), Illini West (80), South Fulton (40), B-PC
(28), Havana (24), West Prairie (12), Lewistown/Valley/Cuba (LVC) (10) and Peoria Heights (9).
Each area school saw one athlete claim a conference crown.
For MHS, junior Charlie Bodiford won the shot put. Meanwhile, B-PC sophomore Jonavan Harrell won the long jump.
West Prairie freshman Ayden lacey was also a conference champion, winning the 400-meter dash.
