Two local Eagle Scouts with Troop 4332, Inali District, recently completed service hours projects, which requires scouts to plan, develop and lead a significant community service project.
Macomb High School student Collin Adams completed 76.5 service hours for his project, which included a gaga ball pit and landscaping at St. Paul's. Adams said one of his scouting highlights includes a trip to Philmont where he climbed Mount Baldy and reached the Tooth of Time.
“I’m thankful to follow in the footsteps of my father and grandfather, who are both Eagle Scouts,” he noted.
Macomb High School student Isaak Raterman recently completed 50 service hours for his project, which was a review and renovation of the Meadowbrook website. In addition to Scouts, he enjoys bowling, with his goal to score over 200 before he ends his time in league bowling, along with being a member of the MHS Math Team.
“Scouting has been a major pillar in my life through learning new skills, providing better insight, and creating lasting memories,” Raterman said.
