Antiques & Collectibles Club meets
The Antiques & Collectibles Club of West Central Illinois will meet Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 7-9 pm in the Macomb City Hall Community Room, 232 East Jackson St (enter the east side of the building).
Program: Collection Literature - Gary Neuhardt, our presenter, will discuss the valuable information found in the accompanying written literature with our collectibles. This material is often lost but can provide crucial insights about your collectibles.
Regardless of what you collect—be it toys, 1/25th scale cars, dealer promotional items, model cars, architecture such as Sears kit homes, historical homes, gas stations, dealership garages, real trains, or “HO” model trains—there is usually printed material available on these subjects. This literature not only enhances the value of the item itself but also serves as a collectible in its own right, just like the original packaging.
Gary is a dedicated collector of car dealer promotional items, particularly 1/125-scale cars, and regularly attends state and regional shows.
We invite you to join us for an evening filled with history and engaging discussions about “Collection Literature,” a collectible genre you may not have known about.
All meetings are open to the public.
