A number of Macomb High runners recorded personal or season bests Saturday evening at the Morton Distance Gala held at Carper Field.
Twenty-four teams took part in the meet that included just three races, the 800-meter, 1600 and 3200 runs.
Junior Alex Simmons recorded the best finish of the night for the Bombers as he finished 11th in the 3200 race. His time of 10 minutes and 54 one hundreths of a second was a personal best.

800 - Jackson Petitgout, 22nd, 2:04.13 (personal best); Marc Simmons, 47th, 2:12.84 (personal best); Xander Merritt, 55th, 2:16.13 (personal best); Owen Haley, 106th, 2:35.61 (personal best) and Alaric Gordon, 117th, 2:50.49.
1600 - Jakob Dawdy, 50th, 4:55.88 (personal best); Landon Richards, 68th, 5:02.48; Eymen Tasdan, 72nd, 5:08.12 (personal best); Cohen Hunt-Twomey, 108th, 5:45.98 (season best) and Ethan Sherwood, 113th, 5:54.12 (personal best).

800 - Khloe Diggs, 28th, 2:39.79 (personal best); Ella McKee, 51st, 2:48.57 (personal best) and Laney Weaver, 81st, 3:09.02 (personal best).
1600 - Allexis Gray, 27th, 5:52.22 (personal best); Ava Weaver, 31st, 5:54.49 (season best); Sofia Cardenas- Roman, 49th, 6:31.39 (personal best) and Leah Gorman, 60th, 6:55.19.
