Western Illinois University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will conclude its spring production season with “BYOP” (Bring Your Own Play), a showcase of entirely student- created works. Running at 7:30 p.m. April 30 through May 2 in Simpkins Theatre, the event serves as a creative milestone for current and soon-to-be sendoff for those preparing to graduate in just a few weeks.
The production, presented with department chair Tammy Killian and friends, features new plays written, designed and performed by students. Admission is free for WIU students, faculty and staff with a valid school ID and $5 for the general public.
