I know there is probably something I should share here that would help someone or some event, but quite honestly I got nothing. Being an advocate and primary care giver not to mention a wife and mother, is not for the weak. So I’m using other folks’ words to get me through this column. They are not just filler, but actual words that made me stop and think and sometimes laugh out loud!
“I want to be surrounded by people who celebrate everything! A homerun, a cup of coffee or all green lights driving home.” Natural life “For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone that doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. Sometimes when we step into what we hear God say yes to… it’s our cracking and coming undone phase of our growth – and it feels like destruction, If a seed stops/holds back there, there will never be a flower. Maybe you’re in your cracking and coming undone phase of growth? It’s not fun – I’d rather run from it but let this be your encouragement today to not hold back, to lean in and keep going. Your flower will be breathtaking.” cottage in the oaks “Joy doesn’t cancel out the heavy things – but it gives you little pockets of strength to carry on. Let it in, whenever and wherever you can.” @Stacieswift Be kind to everyone, including yourself – we all deserve it. Peace – Robin
