Letter to Editor: I want to thank the Macomb Police Department. On Monday night, my wife accidentally left our garage door open. On Tuesday, I realized that my electric bike was gone.
I notified the Macomb Police Department about the stolen bike. Officer Gidlund arrived at my home. After describing the bike, model number and pictures of it, Officer Gidlund left. Within a few short hours, Office Gidlund called me and stated he found the bike and would return it to me. I was very impressed and grateful for the rapid response and recovery of my bike.
We can all be appreciative of our local Macomb Police and must be aware of the time and effort they extend to make our community safe.
