Community Calendar Blandinsville

TUESDAY After School Program Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

SATURDAYS Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.

Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.

Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

SUNDAY Youth Group Blandinsville First Christian Church Youth Group for 5th grade through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Bushnell

WEDNESDAYS Story time at the Bushnell library each Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 at the Bushnell Public Library. We will have snacks, story, crafts, and playtime.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 Trivia Night & Concert Fundraiser Bushnell Fire Protection District is having a general trivia night before a spring concert from 5-7 PM at the Bushnell Rec Center. Trivia is $10 per person with 8 people per team!

Concert tickets are $15 per person, or buy both a concert and trivia ticket for $25. Contact a department member today to get signed up!

B-PC High Prom Promenade will be held in the High School gym at 4:30pm. Prom follows at Western Illinois University.

All Town Clean Up Days Bushnell clean up days are scheduled for April 25 & Sept. 19

MONDAY, APRIL 27 BPC Baseball fundraiser at Jackson St Pub 11am-close Jackson Street Pub in Macomb will donate a portion of every meal served. Enjoy a great meal while supporting your Spartan Baseball Team.

TUESDAY, APRIL 28 Friends Feeding Friends Serving a pasta -bake dinner on Tuesday, April 28 from 4:30-6:30PM at the Community Christian Center. Donations welcome, but not expected. Portion of proceeds will go to the Bushnell Public Library.

THURSDAY, APRIL 23 One Book One Community Festival Eventat the Western Illinois Museum-during this 5-6:30pm program, Fire Chief Dan Meyers and Western Illinois Museum Director Sue Scott will look at five significant local fires, including the Chelsea’s Hallmark, Chandler Block, and Macomb Motors fires, and discuss how they shaped safety practices, policies, and community responses. Conversation and pizza will follow their overview.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24 One Book One Community Festival Eventat Macomb Park District Lakeview Nature Area-will meet from 4-4:45pm to explore nature, Sprouts are invited to enjoy an activity and a reading of Wombat Said Come In. Each Sprout or family will receive a copy of Carmen Agra Deedy’s book during the program.
