New Orleans Style Shrimp
(Two servings - can be doubled)
3 Tbsp butter
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 tsp cayenne
3/4 cup dry white wine
3/4 lb uncooked large shrimp (12 oz)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce Melt butter in a skillet over high heat.
Add garlic, rosemary and cayenne, stir for 30 seconds Add wine and Worcestershire sauce and boil until reduced by half - about 5 minutes Add shrimp Simmer until shrimp are just opaque in the center— about 3 minutes Optional: Increase garlic and/or cayenne
