Macomb Police Explorers participated in active shooter scenarios in a cool abandoned building on the campus of Western Illinois University. The setting made the training feel realistic and helped everyone practice how officers would respond in a real emergency situation.
Explorers worked through different scenarios that required communication, quick decision-making, and teamwork to sately handle the situation. Overall, the experience was both challenging and valuable because it allowed participants to gain hands-on practice in a controlled training environment.
