Two dozen high school track and field teams descended on Hanson Field on the Western Illinois University campus Friday afternoon for the annual Lee Calhoun H.S. Invitational.
The girls division saw Macomb finish second overall, scoring 88 points, trailing only Rock Island High, who grabbed top team honors with 163.25 points.
Bushnell-Prairie City finished in a tie for
13th place with 17 points, while West Prairie finished in a three-way tie for 18th with three points.
Macomb’s Jordan Hines won the 200meter dash with a time of 26.27 seconds. She also finished second in the 100 with a time of 12.49 seconds.
