Lucy Platt, daughter of Jeramiah and Emily Platt, has been named the MidAmerica National Bank Senior of the Month for March 2026. Lucy is very involved in school activities, she is the class President, Vice President of the National Honor Society, and a member of student council. Lucy is on the track and field and tennis team where she serves as the team captain and is participating in the spring school musical. Lucy has earned many awards throughout her high school career including being recognized as an Illinois State Scholar. She was awarded MVP for the Macomb High School tennis team and the Most Dedicated for track and field for 2 years.
Community involvement is also very important to Lucy. She is currently organizing a spring food drive to help those in need in our community and helps to plan volunteer opportunities for the senior class. She worked as a barista at a local drink shop for two years and in her free time Lucy enjoys staying active, reading, painting, traveling, and learning piano.
Following graduation, Lucy plans on attending a 4-year university to study political science and follow on a pre-law path. As the March Senior of the Month, Lucy was presented a cash award of $100.00 and is eligible for the Senior of the Year Award in May 2026.
