Donna F. Baker, 84, of Industry passed away at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
She was born on February 10, 1942 in Lewistown, Illinois to Robert Charles and Mabel Faye Greene Estes. She married Marlin LeeRoy Baker on June 13, 1959 in Industry, Illinois. He passed away on May 24, 2016.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Donna is survived by two sons, Rod (Ronda) Baker of Plymouth, Illinois and Robert (Sarah) Baker of Glendale, Arizona; one daughter, Laura (Roy) Bennett of New Albany, Indiana; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one brother, Charles B.D. (Arlene) Estes of Craig, Colorado.
Donna attended Industry High School but received her GED at Spoon River post High School. Marlin and Donna resided in Industry until 1960 where they moved to Redding, California until 1967, they moved back to Monmouth and Macomb before moving to Industry area in 1988 where they farmed for a total of 48 years. Donna worked at JC Pennys department store when they lived in Macomb. She was also a 4-H leader for many years for her children. Donna loved her family and was a hard worker on the farm, was a strong willed very independent person. She was a member of the Doddsville United Methodist church and a breast cancer survivor of 38 years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Mike Ulmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Elms Nursing Home or MDH Hospice.
