The Macomb High boys and girls track and field teams hosted its first outdoor meet of the season Tuesday, welcoming LVC and Monmouth-Roseville for competition.
The boys competition saw Macomb edge Monmouth- Roseville 65-57 in the team standings with LVC finishing third with 16 points.
The girls portion of the meet saw Macomb record 87 points, followed by LVC with 60 and Monmouth- Roseville with 11.
Top individual results for the Macomb High boys included the following: 4x800-meter relay - MHS “A” (Cohen Hunt-Twomey, Grant Potteet, Ethan Sherwood and Jackson Petitgout), third, 10 minutes and eight seconds and MHS “B” (Owen Haley, Xander Merritt, Alaric Gordon and Eymen Tasdan), fourth, 10:16.0.
4x100 - MHS “A” (Jake Anderson, Siddhartha Singh, Drake May and James Liebsack), second, 48.4 and MHS “B” (Jairon Royer, Johnny Powell, Connor Clauson and Blaze Howell), third, 54.4.
