Join the Macomb Park District at Lakeview Nature Area for their annual Prairie Egg Hunt April 1- April 30 at 9am! Eight ceramic eggs with accompanying springthemed nature facts are placed throughout the prairie for you to discover and explore! This is a FREE selfguided outdoor event.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1
Children grades K-4th grade are invited to participate in an event titled, It’s not just about the bunny, It’s all about the LAMB. This event will be held at the Bushnell United Methodist Church, 390 North Crafford Street, Bushnell, Wednesday, April 1, 2:30-4:00 PM.
Children will do crafts, watch a video and have a snack all designed to explain the Christian meaning of Easter.
Christian women of Bushnell area churches conduct the event. There is no charge to attend. Registration papers are available at the various churches, Bushnell-PC Elementary School and Axline Pharmacy. Registration is encouraged by March 31st to allow for adequate planning. Also children can be registered by calling the Methodist Church office (309-772-9407) and leaving a message. Please state a name and a contact number. Good Hope United Methodist Church and the Good Hope Community will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 at 5pm in the Good Hope Park for ages 0-6 and 4 age groups.
FRIDAY, APRIL 3 Join us at the Macomb Library on Friday, April 3rd, for the annual Easter Egg Hunt! Beginning at 10AM, we’ll be split into three (3) distinct age groups for this year's event (Ages 0-3 years at 10am, 4-6 years at 10:45am & 7-10 years at 11:30am) Be sure to be on time for your designated age group. This event will take place across the street from the library at the Library Annex, 109 E Jefferson St Join Grand Prairie for their annual Easter Egg Race on Friday, April 3 at 2pm sharp for a wonderful tradition that brings joy to children and parents alike. Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy the gentle experience of petting a real bunny. We know these moments create lasting memories for your little ones. The race begins promptly at 2pm, so please arrive a few minutes early to ensure your family doesn’t miss out on the fun.
SATURDAY, APRIL 4 Please join the Industry Fire Department for an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 at 10am at Pinhook Park, rain or shine! Age groups include: 0-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-13 years.
The Macomb Park District has an eggciting night planned on Saturday, April 4 from 6-9pm at the Newman Center, 1401 W.
University Dr. with the Adult Easter Egg Hunt (must be 18 years or older). Enjoy a fun-filled night of glow games, DJ, cash prizes, food truck, flashlight egg hunt and more! Grab your flashlight, find the fun and join us for a night that won’t be forgotten.
Registration closes on March 27 at noon.
Spring is almost here with Easter around the corner. To celebrate, the Easter Bunny will be at the Bushnell VFW early - April 4th. We will be serving the best breakfast in town on Saturday, April 5th from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m at the Post 1422 Hall located at 181 E. Hail in Bushnell.
We provide on-site, takeout, and curb service. For takeout and curb service please call 3093339919. We are serving biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, hash browns, pancakes and French Toast. Join us and the Easter Bunny for a hearty breakfast.
Blandinsville Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1pm at the Old School vacant lot (the Blandinsville- Hire Park is under construction). The Easter Bunny will be there with treat bags.
In case of poor weather, the activities will be moved to the Blandinsville Christian Church. Bring a bag to collect all the goodies!
Join the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ for an Egg Glow on April 4 at 7:30pm at Glenwood Park. There will be a Glow-In-The-Dark Easter Egg Hunt, candy and prizes!
SUNDAY, APRIL 5 Hop on Over for Easter Brunch at your Hy-Vee Store! Celebrate Easter Sunday with a delicious brunch the whole family will love!
