The Bushnell-Prairie City High School softball team slipped to 0-4 on the season after dropping a 22-0, four-inning decision to host Brimfield/Elmwood Friday afternoon at Brimfield.
The Indians (4-2, 2-0 Prairieland) scored 11 runs in the opening inning before adding two runs in the second and nine more in the third.
Brimfield/Elmwood finished with 10, also taking advantage of six B-PC errors.
Triniti Williams pitched two innings, allowing 18 runs, eight earned, on five hits. She struck out one, walked 12 and hit a batter.
Natalie Willey pitched one inning, allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits. Willey walked one.
Audrey Updyke had two hits, including a double, knocking in three runs.
Layni Linthicum and Schyer Meinders each had two runs batted in, while Adelyn Magee and Anja Nelson had doubles for the Indians.
Meinders pitched two innings striking out five, while Jordyn Carroll also pitched two innings, striking out one.
B-PC (0-4, 0-2 Prairieland) returns to action Wednesday, hosting Knoxville (2-3).
