ROBIN’S

Hello Friends – Is everyone happy the election is over? I know not everyone is happy with the outcome of the vote, but it is what the majority wanted. What we need to do now is address the candidates with our concerns and get their responses before the November election, so we can finalize these seats and move forward to continue to grow and respect each other again. Let’s work together to make our future brighter, it’s the right thing to do!

Our “snowbirds” are slowly migrating back to home – Welcome Home! I’m sure that leaving the beautiful paradise of your winters will be hard, but we can’t wait to hear about your adventures and can’t wait to have you back!

The future can often surprise you. The lifestyle you once saw in your future can change in an instant. Try to prepare yourself as best as you can for change before it happens. Being an advocate for those you love is hard but is something you must give 110% of your attention. I have learned this lesson, yet still don’t have it mastered! Making sure that you stand up for those that can’t on their own and being a partner and advocate for them is rewarding and exhausting, but necessary. If you are on the outside looking in, it’s always best to not criticize or second guess their decisions. Offering help and understanding is key, but listening to their concerns and just being there when they need to vent is so helpful and comforting. I’m fortunate to have some key people in our lives that have stepped in and done all of this, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Keep an open mind and heart, it’s the best way to help them tackle this stage of their lives.

“The best gift we can give our kids isn’t stuff – it’s safety. A home where love is louder than anger. Where respect is the norm. Where they don’t have to wonder if they’re too much or not enough. It doesn’t matter if the home is big or small, noisy or quiet – what matters is the feeling. Because one day, they’ll create homes of their own. And the love we show them now will become the pattern they follow later.” Momquotesinspire Stay safe - Robin Wilt
