The Macomb High and Bushnell-Prairie City High School track teams headed to Monmouth Wednesday to take part in the Monmouth- Roseville Titan Indoor Invitational, hosted by Monmouth College at the Huff Athletic Center.
The girls competition saw Macomb finish second out of 13 teams with 74 points. B-PC finished 12th, scoring four points.
Sherrard took top team honors with 106 points.
The boys competition saw MHS and B-PC finish eighth and ninth respectively with 33 and 32 points.
Orion topped the field with 95 points with Farmington finishing second with 79 points.
In girls competition, Macomb High senior Jordan Hines won the 60-meter dash in 8.06 seconds, along with the 200 in 26.65 seconds.
Hines also teamed with Madison Nelson, Clair Thompson and Grace O’Hern in winning the 4x200 relay in a time of 1:50.32.
Ava Huston was also an event winner. The sophomore captured top honors in the triple jump with an effort of 9.64 meters (31feet, 7.50-inches).

High jump - Thompson, MHS, fourth, 1.47m (4-9.75) and Aubrey Holthaus, MHS, fifth, 1.47m (4-9.75).
Long jump - O’Hern, MHS, seventh, 4.27m (140.25) and Baileigh Gray, 13th, 4.00m (13-1.50).
For the boys, B-PC sophomore Jonavan Harrell finished second in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.29 seconds. He also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 5.74 meters (18-10).
For the Bombers, Charlie Bodiford placed second in the shot put with a toss of 14.73m (48-4).
Reed Lytle finished third in the pole vault (3.35m, 10-11.75) for the Bombers.
