Show off your 'smrts' (as Homer Simpson would say) at the Western Illinois University Performing Arts Society's 'Arts Smarts Music Trivia,' which has been rescheduled for Friday, March 27 at The Penny, 26 W. Side Square.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m and trivia play begins at 7 p.m. Sponsored by Ryan and Beth Hansen, Spring Lake Management, teams of eight players will answer arts-themed questions, with all proceeds going to arts programming initiatives supported by the Performing Arts Society (PAS).
All tickets purchased for January 23, 2026 will be honored on the new date. For individuals still needing to purchase tickets, registration can be completed online at westernpresents. com/trivia, or by calling (309) 2981618. Registration is $25 per person.
Corporate tables are available for $225. A cash bar will be available, and the event will feature numerous prizes, as well as 'mulligans' to help with some of those trickier trivia questions. Players are invited to bring snacks for their table to enjoy.
Money raised supports arts programming, including, the Youth Performing Arts Series (YPAS), WIU Summer Music Institute Scholarships, Community Arts Grants, Arts Programming Grants to WIU Faculty and Staff, K-12 School Arts Grants, SummerStage, and the Bureau of Cultural Affairs (BCA). The PAS provides arts opportunities to thousands of people in the community.
