Edison School students logged more than 2,000 books this year through the Bikes for Books reading program, a second-year partnership with the Illinois Masonic Children's Assistance Program. The initiative rewards reading with chances to win bicycles, encouraging students to build literacy skills and a lasting love of books.
Reading is a fundamental skill that supports academic success and lifelong learning. The Bikes for Books program not only motivates students to read more but also recognizes their hard work and dedication.
