Wooly, warm, fuzzy wuzzies and so much more will be a part of the Western Illinois Fiber Festival Saturday, March 21 at the McDonough County 4-H Center.
The event, which will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., will feature unique items and wares from fiber farmers, dyers and artisans.
In addition to items for purchase, A Tangled Mess Fiber Arts will offer needle felting at $10 per DIY project.
Participants can also learn how to use a drop spindle, with both spindles and fiber available to try and also for purchase. Individuals are also invited to bring their own spinning fiber and drop spindle.
Raw fiber, roving, batt blends, hand-spun and millspun yarns, felted sheets/ fabric, hand-dyed clothing, felting fiber and needles, drop spindles and all kinds of finished products from fiber farmers and artisans socks, hats, gloves, scarves, animal dolls and figurines, shawls, rugs, woven purses and bags, decor, dryer balls and more.
There will also be goat's milk soap and lotion (straight from the farmers), homegrown CBD products from a woman-owned hemp farm, and fun and snarky stickers, magnets, notepads, etc.
