The 7th grade Carthage BLUEGIRLS (20-6)head to Brimfield High School Friday night at 8:15 to face Lexington (22-2).
The BLUEGIRLS played Stronghurst West Central 25-13, 25-10, LaHarpe 25-14, 25-10, and finished with a very tough West Prairie for the regional championship 25-20, 15-25, 25-23. They moved onto play Bluffs for the sectional title 25-10, 25-14.
The BLUEGIRLS have had a challenging season losing one of their main players to an injury early on in the season. They made adjustments and pushed forward with versatility in order to gain the momentum they needed to carry them through to the post season. Good luck BLUEGIRLS!
