Tevin Charles Huston

Tevin Charles Huston, 35, of Macomb, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2026, at McDonough District Hospital. He was born May 31, 1990, in Quincy, to Neil Huston and Stephanie (Wilson) Huston.

Surviving is his mother, Stephanie Huston of Macomb, IL; “his person” and life partner, Elisha Oden of Macomb, IL; his brother, Chad Cox of Macomb, IL; his sister, Kiara (Raymond Melancon) Huston of Hudson, NH; two nephews, Elijah and Miles Cox; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Huston; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Patricia Huston; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Wilson; and several aunts and uncles.

Tevin was a 2008 graduate of Macomb High School, where he enjoyed playing football and baseball for the Bombers. He absolutely loved sports and was an avid fan of both baseball and football. His passion for the University of Colorado Buffaloes football team was unmatched, and he proudly supported their leader, Deion Sanders, also known as “Coach Prime.” When it came to basketball, LeBron James was his go-to player.

Tevin was also a big fan of Game of Thrones, and his favorite quote, “What is dead may never die,” was one he loved to repeat. He had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh so infectious that you could not help but laugh along with him. Tevin’s presence, humor, and love for those around him will be deeply missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Dodsworth-Piper- Wallen Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at The Ritz located at 215 N.
