The Macomb High boys track and field team opened its indoor season Wednesday, taking part in the Cogdal Girls Invite.
The meet featured more than 30 teams and was held at Horton Fieldhouse on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal.
No team scores were kept. Results for the Bombers included the following.
60-meter dash - James Liebsack, 16th, 7.52 seconds and Carter Havens, 20th, 7.54.
200 - Liebsack,16th, 25.42. 800 - Alex Simmons, seventh, 2:08.41 and Jackson Petitgout, 17th, 2:14.94.
1600 - Simmons, sixth, 4:50.20. To vote, completely darken the box to the LEFT of your choice, like this xxx x. The meet featured more than 30 teams and was held at Horton Fieldhouse on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal.
No team scores were kept. Results for the Bombers included the following.
60-meter prelims - Jordan Hines, second, 8.05 seconds and Madison Nelson, 10th, 8.38.
60-meter finals - Hines, DNP, false start. 1600 - Ava Weaver, 10th, 6:07.67. 4x200 relay - MHS (Nelson, Clair Thompson, Grace O’Hern and Hines), fourth, 1:54.64.
