Spoon River College will be offering a “Pharmacy Technician PTCB Exam Prep” course starting Monday, March 23, 2026 through June 3, 2026 at the Spoon River College Community Outreach Center in Macomb.
This comprehensive 50-hour program will meet on Mondays (lecture) and Wednesdays (lab) to prepare students to work as a pharmacy technician in a retail or other pharmacy setting. This program also meets the necessary requirements to take the Pharmacy Technician Certified Board (PTCB) – Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) exam.
Books are included in the class fee. The course is normally $1499 per student, but SRC Outreach is able to offer the course at the discounted fee of $750 thanks to ICCB Noncredit Workforce Training Grant funding.
