The Macomb High boys swim team wrapped up its season Saturday, taking part in the Illinois High School Association Sectional hosted by United Township High School at East Moline.
The Bombers finished with a team score of 39 points.
“So proud of this team,” said MHS assistant coach Tonya Hamer. “One hundred percent of our swimmers earned at least one PR.”
“Great things to come from this team,” she added of the squad made up entirely of underclassmen.
The Galesburg co-op captured the team title with a score of 249 points.
Jaydn Glaue medaled for the Bombers in the 100 yard breaststroke, finishing sixth with a time of one minute,
9.65 seconds.
