The McDonough County Republican Central Committee proudly announces that we will be awarding four $500 scholarships to students planning to further their post-secondary education. Each recipient applying must be a student in a McDonough County high school. The MCRCC does not discriminate on the basis of religion or race.
All applicants are given equal consideration regardless of political affiliation or views.
Along with those pursuing a community college or a 4-year institution, those considering technical school or trade school as post-secondary education may apply as well. The 2026 McDonough County Republican Central Committee Scholarship Application is now available to you through your school guidance counselor. Your counselor will have all the details and information related to the scholarships. These $500 scholarships will be awarded, one at each of the four McDonough County School Districts (Bushnell-Prairie City, Macomb, West Prairie and Trinity Academy) and remitted to the recipient upon selection and subsequent fulfillment of requirements.
All applicants must have their applications postmarked by April 1, 2026 to be considered as a recipient.
