Blandinsville

TUESDAY 

- After School Program Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

SATURDAY

-Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.

-Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM. Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

SUNDAY 

-Youth Group Blandinsville First Christian Church Youth Group for 5th grade through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Bushnell

WEDNESDAYS 

-Story time at the Bushnell library each Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 at the Bushnell Public Library. We will have snacks, story, crafts, and playtime.

SATURDAY, FEB. 21 

- Music Trivia Potato & Soup Bar At the Bushnell VFW - food served at 6pm, trivia begins at 7pm. $8/spud or soup, $10 for both. Mini Meal available (½ soup. ½ Spud). Family of 4 only $30. Carryouts available by calling 309-221-4746. Trivia players $10/person. Silent auction & 50/50 during the event.

TUESDAY, FEB. 24 

-Friends Feeding Friends Community Meal from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Bushnell Community Christian Center. Menu plan: Salisbury Steak and Brown Gravy. The meal is free, though donations will be accepted

FRIDAY, MARCH 6 

-B-PC FFA Alumni Bingo Fundraiser The Bushnell Prairie City FFA Alumni Bingo Fundraiser will be held Friday, March 6th at the Bushnell VFW. Food, including steamburgers, chips, baked beans, and items from a bake sale, will be served starting at 5:30 PM, with bingo beginning at 7:00 PM. Note: MUST be 18 years or older to participate!!

Colchester

4TH THURSDAY OF MONTH 

-New Illinois meetings at 7pm at the Colchester Lions Club

SATURDAY, MARCH 7 

-28th annual Maple Syrup Festival at Argyle Lake State Park from 10a.m.-3p.m. Attendees will experience the tapping of the maple trees, collection of the sap, boiling down of sap into syrup, and a taste of the finished product. Tours to collect sap at the maple grove will depart regularly and several children’s activities will be ongoing throughout the day. Free refreshments will be provided by Macomb Morning Rotary and Friends of Argyle will have maple syrup and other items for sale at the event. -Colchester Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast at 207 S. Fulton St. in Colchester from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Maple Syrup Festival

Macomb

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 18 

-Antiques & Collectibles Club Meeting Antiques & Collectibles Club of West Central Illinois meeting 7:00 – 9 pm in the Community Room in the Macomb City Hall, 232 East Jackson (use east side double doors). Program: This is a SHOW-N-TELL meeting.We invite you to join us for an evening filled with history, fun, and engaging discussions! Meetings are open to the public.

THURSDAY, FEB. 19 

-Farmers Market: Prospective Vendors’ Meet The Macomb Farmers Market welcomes all who are interested to a Prospective Vendors’ Meeting at 6 p.m., in the Macomb City Hall Community Room. Our Farmers Market runs May - October in Chandler Park and includes vendors of local produce, food items, local artisans & craftspersons. Come get your questions answered!

SATURDAY, FEB. 21 

-Trinity Academy Legacy & Light Chili Supper an evening filled with good food, fun fellowship, and the glow of community. Come celebrate the legacy that built Trinity Academy and help keep the light shining for generations to come. Supper served from 4:30-7:30pm, live music, cake walk, silent auction and a family art room. Freewill donation.

MONDAY, FEB. 23 

-Macomb Fiber Arts Guild Meeting at 11:00am in the First Presbyterian Church basement in Macomb.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY, MARCH 6 & 7 

-Imperishable Women’s Conference at Maple Avenue Christian Church, register now through February 18, cost $20/person! This is a time for women of all generations to press pause, worship together, and be reminded that our true identity is rooted in Jesus, not in the world’s expectations. Let’s encourage each other to stand firm on a foundation that won’t spoil or fade.

Prairie City

SATURDAY, FEB. 21 

-Pancake Breakfast, Serving from 7-10am & 4-7pm at the Prairie City Firehouse, 140 N. Smith St. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and drink for a free will donation.
