Western Illinois University RockyTHON members will host the annual Rocky-THON Pasta Party from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Macomb American Legion, 221 E. Washington St. The event will feature all-you-can-eat pasta and garlic bread, with two sauce options and multiple noodle choices. Tickets are $7 when purchased in advance and $10 at the door. A new twist this year is a donation option for those who are unable, but want to help others in the community.
Tickets can be purchased for the local food pantry for their customers to take part in the Feb. 19 meal.
All proceeds from the Pasta Party will go to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in St. Louis, which support pediatric care for children and families in the region. Tickets are available via Venmo at @wiurockython or with cash by contacting a RockyTHON executive board member.
RockyTHON is a student- led organization at WIU dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The Pasta Party reflects the organization's mission to bring together the WIU campus and surrounding community in support of children's health.
