Macomb, IL – McDonough County Sheriff Nicholas Petitgout has issued the following update regarding the arrest of Jeremy Lee Sholl, 43, of Galesburg, Illinois.
Over the past several months, McDonough County Sheriff’s Detectives investigated allegations against Sholl, who is accused of inappropriately touching, grooming, and molesting juveniles in and outside of his household. He is charged with Counts I & VI Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a child, Counts II & V Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, Counts III & IV Criminal Sexual Assault
The McDonough County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate along with the Illinois State Police Zone 4 Investigations on this matter. The McDonough Sheriff’s Office encourages all victims to come forward, so that justice may be served.
