59, of Prairie City

Bradley Earl Link, 59, of Prairie City, Illinois, passed away at 6:52 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

Brad was born October 20, 1966 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Edwin E. “Butch” and Madeline C. (Garrett) Link. On July 30, 2007 he married Kelle Weiss. She survives.

Brad was a graduate of Bushnell High School. In 1985 he enlisted in U.S. Army, serving some time overseas stationed in Germany. Following his Honorable Discharge in 1992, he returned to Prairie City. He was employed by Smithfield Farmland in Monmouth for over 30 years.

Brad enjoyed bowling, playing cards, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and just being outdoors.

Besides his wife, Kelle, survivors include two children: Myleena English of Macomb and Levi Link of Prairie City, his mother: Madeline Link of LaHarpe, three sisters: Cathy (Tony) Sikes of Avon, Ava (Rodney) Havens of Prairie City and Christina Link of Macomb; one brother: Stephen (Lorrie) Link of Canton and his in-laws: Dave Weiss of Bushnell and Dave and Lynn Crowell of Avon.

He was preceded in death by his father: Butch Link. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. Burial with Military Rites by the Macomb American Legion Post 6 and Macomb VFW Post 1921 will follow at LaHarpe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
