Spring, summer, fall or winter, it doesn't matter which season we're transitioning into, Mother Nature will always have the last say. To help the community brace for the unpredictable, the McDonough County Health Department, McDonough County ESDA and the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host 'Master the Disaster.'
The workshop, designed to help local businesses and organizations prepare for emergencies and natural disasters, will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, at the Macomb City Hall Community Room, 232 East Jackson St.
Niki Duffy, of the McDonough County Health Department, and Edgar Rodriguez, of the McDonough County ESDA, will lead the session. Chamber members may participate for free, while the cost for non-members is $10.
