Members of the West Prairie Middle School track team headed to Eastside Centre in East Peoria on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Illinois Elementary School Association Class
2A State Finals.
The eighth grade boys were part of a three-way tie for 19th with 11 points.
The eighth grade girls team scored two points, sharing 45th place with six other teams.

Eighth Grade Boys
400 - Ayden Lacey, 16th, 57.90 seconds.
1600 - Ezra Bithos, 24th, 5:20.40.
4x200 relay - WPMS (Holden Coplan, Kasen Rogers, Ivan Beck and Lacey), third, 1:41.46.
4x400 - WPMS (Coplan, Rogers, Beck and Lacey), fourth, 3:51.50.
Shot put - Beck, ninth, 12.89-meters
(42-feet, 3.5-inches).
Eighth Grade Girls
400 - Brynlee Finch, 20th, 1:07.48.
100 hurdles - Finch, eighth, 17.86 (third in prelims, 17.75).
4x400 - WPMS (Alyvia Barkley, Kate Beck, Layla Dallefeld and Finch),
28th, 4:41.75.
High jump - Barkley, 15th, 1.34m

Long jump - Finch, eighth, 4.75m

Seventh Grade Girls
400 - Kyler Rogers, 14th, 1:09.20.
