West Prairie High School students Madison Adams, Alydia Gooden, Josie Hodges, and Eirlyne McCurdy attended the first session of the Regional Future Teacher's Club, coordinated by ROE #26 in Macomb. Students networked with area high school students interested in a career in education and established goals for developing their own teacher clubs in their home high schools. Grant Bland, PE teacher at the south elementary and junior high, spoke with attendees about the value of returning to your home school district as a teacher and provided advice for students entering collegiate education programs. We are very excited to grow our teacher preparation pathways!
