The Macomb High boys swim team hosted Jacksonville High in recent dual meet competition on Jan. 21 with the Bombers posting an 88-47 victory over the visiting Crimsons.
Results for the Bombers included the following: 200-yard medley relay MHS “A” (Jacob McGath, Jaydn Glaus, Jairon Royer and Reed Lytle), first, two minutes, 1.78 seconds and MHS “B” (Ray Phillips, Marc Simmons, Owen Haley and Luke Wu), second, 2;14.22.
200 freestyle - Gavin Douglas, first, 2:25.05.
200 individual medley - Haley, first, 2:47.32 and Simmons, second, 3:22.32.
50 freestyle - Royer, second, 26.50; Phillips, fourth, 28.36; Landon Richardson, fifth, 31.09; Austin Ortiz, sixth, 32.33; Ethan Sherwood, seventh, 38.09 and Bentley Rutledge, eighth, 1:08.35.
100 butterfly - Royer, first, 1:12.38.
