TUESDAY After School Program Blandinsville First Christian Church After School Program for Kindergarten through High School students from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
SATURDAYS Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.
Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM. Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

SUNDAY, JANUARY 27 Friends Feeding Friends Meal “Chicken and Noodle Meal” from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Bushnell Community Christian Center. The meal will include chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, vegetable and beverages, with cinnamon rolls for dessert. The meal is free, though donations will be accepted, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Bushnell Swimming Pool to help meet expenses.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14 VFW Valentine's Day Dinner at the Bushnell VFW from 4:30-8pm. Dinner options are Prime Rib $35, Prime Rib & Shrimp $37 or Butterfly Shrimp $21, dinners include baked potato, garden salad, rolls and dessert. Reservations are required by February 7, for reservations call 309-371-7171. Carry out available.

4TH THURSDAY OF MONTH New Illinois meetings at 7pm at the Colchester Lions Club
SATURDAY, JAN. 24 Bird Watching at Argyle Lake State Park from 10-11:30am. This program will begin in the visitor center with a discussion of the 7 S’s of bird identification, which will be followed by observing birds outside at the feeders and nearby shrubs. WEDNESDAY, JAN. 21 Antique & Collectibles Club Meets at the Community Room in City Hall from 7-9 pm - Jim Hall is a local collector who has dedicated the last 54 years to learning about and seeking out breweriana collectibles. He plans to showcase a variety of beer containers, signs, advertising trays, and barroom accessories.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 23 Arts Smarts Music Trivia Night at The Penney at 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm.
SATURDAY, FEB. 7 Friends of the Library Specialty Book Sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Library Annex, at 109 E. Jefferson St. This specialty sale features fiction, mystery/action adventure, science fiction/fantasy, and classics plus media and all of the oversized books (cook books, art, history/biography, non fiction, etc. You also can also bring book donation for future sales at this time. Proceeds are invested in the Macomb Public Library.
