SATURDAYS Life Skills Program Blandinsville First Christian Church Life Skills Program for 5th grade through High School students from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the third Saturday of each month.
Story Hour and Crafts Saturdays at The Blandinsville-Hire Library at 10 AM.
Snacks will be available. Check out the many new kids and young adult books. Spend some time at the library and take a book home to read!

at the Bushnell VFW from 4:30-8pm. Dinner options are Prime Rib $35, Prime Rib & Shrimp $37 or Butterfly Shrimp $21, dinners include baked potato, garden salad, rolls and dessert.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 14 Colchester Library Curiosity Club Meets a fun new program for curious kids ages 6-10. There will be hands-on fun activities and experiments starting at 3:30pm.

SATURDAY, JAN. 24 Bird Watching at Argyle Lake State Park from 10-11:30am. This program will begin in the visitor center with a discussion of the 7 S’s of bird identification, which will be followed by observing birds outside at the feeders and nearby shrubs. SATURDAY, JAN. 17 Winter Farmers Market January's indoor Winter Farmers Market will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17th from 8:30 to Noon in the American Legion Hall (on E. Washington between S. Randolph & S. Campbell, behind the Post Office). We'll have fresh local produce; homemade baked goods; local honey, jam, & syrup; readyto- eat meals; locally made personal care products; handcrafted goods & gifts made by local artisans & artists; on-site knife-sharpening; and more! (Next month's Winter Market will be held on Feb. 7th.)
Friends of the Library Winter Social Join Friends of the Library members as they welcome in the McDonough County Bicentennial year from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Wine Sellers with a “blind date” historical book give-away for each person attending. Board members will provide light snacks. Drinks will be available for purchase.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 21 Antique & Collectibles Club Meets at the Community Room in City Hall from 7-9 pm - Jim Hall is a local collector who has dedicated the last 54 years to learning about and seeking out breweriana collectibles. He plans to showcase a variety of beer containers, signs, advertising trays, and barroom accessories.
